Automechanika Kuala Lumpur defers to 2022
With COVID-19 cases still being recorded in Malaysia , the organisers of Automechanika Kuala Lumpur defer the upcoming edition of the show initially planned for March 2021. The move to reschedule the fair to 15 – 17 March 2022 comes as a result of travel restrictions hampering both domestic and international attendance. Exhibitors, partners and supporting associations have backed the decision, and they look forward to the fair’s mixture of exhibition and events that promote automotive industry recovery.

On 23 March, the 11th edition of Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2019 closed with roaring success. In fact, final figures reveal that visitor attendance at this year’s three-day show rose by 24 percent.

Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2019 opens for its 11th edition in Malaysia. This leading automotive trade fair in the ASEAN region takes place from today until 23 March. Showing a 19 percent exhibitor increase, the fair houses 293 exhibitors across 9,710 sqm of space in five halls. Fringe events at Automechanika Kuala Lumpur delve into commercial and passenger vehicle trends
Automechanika Kuala Lumpur will feature multiple fringe events highlighting the potential of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to reduce maintenance costs and improve road safety, show organisers have announced. The trade fair, which is the leading event of its kind for the automotive industry in the ASEAN region, attracted 246 exhibitors and more than 5,600 visitors to the previous edition. Continuing its success, 2019 will see an estimated 300 exhibitors to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 21 – 23 March 2019.
