Over his academic career, Dr. Che has published more than 80 international journals, conference papers and book chapters, including several highly cited journals in IEEE Transactions. As of 2025, Dr. Che has an h-index of 25 on Google Scholar with more than 3500 citations.
From 2014-2022, he served as an associate editor for IET-Electrical Power Application (IET-EPA) journal and Alexandria Engineering Journal, and is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, US. Thorughout his professional career, Dr. Che has been actively consulting for energy and electric mobility related projects for organizations such as United Nation Industrial Development Office (UNIDO), Academy of Sciences Malaya (ASM), Malaysian Green Technology Cooperation (MGTC), MIMOS, NanoMalaysia Sdn Bhd and others.
With the team at EV Connection, Dr. Che has developed and deployed the first second-life EV battery mobile rescue van, Battery Assisted EV Charging Stations in Malaysia, and deployed a collective of 3MWh of battery energy storage systems in Malaysia.

Wan Ahmad Zam Zam possess more than 25 years of fulfilling operation and management career in Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). He started his career at a sustainable generation plant i.e. the hydro power plant. He later on was active in the transformation projects and managing the business performance within the organization.
In his latest role, he is the leading the Electric Vehicles’ Program Management Office by ensuring deliverable of the project according to the timeline, synchronize all the program’s activities thru unified and consistent view of the program.
He graduated from Portsmouth University, UK in Engineering.
He is currently the president of Malaysia Zero Emission Vehicle Association (MyZEVA). He believes that EV can not only reduce the carbon emission but reboot the economic growth of the country.
